As did all if the usual bullies at his school and most obliviously one Flash Thompson believed, Peter Parker was a geek. Heck he recognized himself to be one, although he didn’t exactly the bullying that followed the subsequent title. Even as a crime fighter he couldn’t oppose his old demons simply because of the risk fighting back would entail. If he really did show any sign of unnatural agility more than he already had, people would be quick to connect the dots though it was surprising enough that they hadn’t already. On this note, New Yorks defender decided a visit to the library was largely overdue. Though Peter specialized in Biophysics he was most certainly interested in a different array of subjects, ranging from Einstein’s Theory of Relativity to Karl Marx’s Communist Manifesto. After all, science wasn’t all there was to life, sure it was a great aid in understanding nature and its developments revolutionized human capacity but fundamentally it lacked the ability explain the human psyche.
The New Yorker miraculously found the library admittedly after a good half hour spent searching. What greeted him when he pushed those double-doors left him in complete and utter awe. Rows upon rows of books greeted his inquisitive eyes, the sight alone made his stomach clench in anticipation. With a slight jitter in his step and a sparkle in his eyes the young man proceeded forward to explore the cavern of knowledge that was the library.
“Man this is going to be SO much fun!”
